Buying Fine Art prints from me…
I take pride in ensuring that my images are printed on good quality fine-art paper. The following options are available…
Fine Art Litho Prints
Most of the images showcased in my portfolio are available as fine art prints in various sizes. These are printed on litho-realistic papers, which deliver exceptional print results with the look, feel and longevity of a heavy, matte offset paper. This natural-white paper is perfect for high-quality poster art and art reproductions.
Limited Edition Prints
A selection of my signature images are available as limited edition prints and printed large format (A1 and bigger). These prints are produced on Hahnemühle Museum Etch Paper; a 350 gsm, 100% Cotton, natural white paper. Hahnemühle is the oldest German papermakers. The company have been found in 1584 and ever since producing the finest art papers. The buyer receives a certificate of authenticity, which has affixed to it, a hologram with unique serial number. A second identically numbered hologram is applied to the reverse side of the print itself. The Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity was designed to protect the security and genuineness of your limited edition art works and reproductions on Hahnemühle paper and to reduce the risk of forgery.

Photography as an art form…
I believe that photography does not get sufficient exposure and recognition as an art form; especially in South Africa. With digital technology, people everywhere, take thousands of images, but no longer print them. Images are kept on computers, saved on hard drives and splashed all over the internet. Even though commercial photography has improved dramatically over the past few years; digital technology has just about the opposite effect on the masses. The internet is filled with “visual clutter” and unfortunately people display a general disregard for good photography and printing
After my first exhibition, I just realised how little people know about quality fine-art printing. Most people couldn’t care less about tonality, contrast, and longevity of a print. For this reason, I made it my goal to educate my students in this regard.
